What is it?
Sun Life Financial SunDex Bonus is a single-premium, fixed index annuity that offers a double feature to help with your financial plan - Bonus and Income.

- a Bonus (up to 7%) which enhances your Account Value immediately*;
- the InControlSM Lifetime Benefit for exceptional control and flexibility to START, STOP, and STORE your income;
- access to your money if you need it (certain withdrawals during the first 10 contract years are subject to surrender charges);
- interest earnings linked to positive increases in the S&P 500® Index;
- protection from negative S&P 500 Index returns; and
- tax-deferred growth of any earnings (earnings will be taxable when withdrawn).

* During the first 5 contract years, you will lose some or all of the Bonus (and interest associated with it) if any of the following events occur: any withdrawals (including IRS Required Minimum Distributions for qualified plans), the commencement of annuity payment options, or a death benefit distribution.
The InControl Lifetime Benefit is available at anytime after 5 full contract years as long as the Benefit Value is $10,000 or more and the covered person is age 60 or older at the time of activation.
Who may purchase it?
This annuity may be issued to people age 80 and younger. Your financial professional can help you decide whether SunDex Bonus can fit with your overall retirement plan.

Minimum initial investment: $10,000
Fees: No annual maintenance fee. Surrender charges may apply for the first 10 contract years. A Bonus Vesting schedule applies during the first 5 contract years.
