When my daughter, Natalie, began her college search, I never knew that private universities in the U.S. were so costly. Both my wife and I grew up in Toronto, so we were all embarking on a new experience together.
When I learned about the Sun Life Scholarship Fund, I encouraged my daughter to apply. She is a junior this year, and for the past three years at college, Natalie has been a scholarship recipient.
The Sun Life Scholarship Fund is helping Natalie pursue her dream. She is extremely passionate about set design for theatre, and the funding she receives from Sun Life is supporting her work toward a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Emerson College.
