College Relations

We have a well-established college relations program highlighted by a nationwide on-campus recruiting effort for positions in our Employee Benefits Group Sales Representative Training Program and our Actuarial Student Program. Actuarial

The Actuarial Student Program at Sun Life Financial is a rotational program within the business units. While developing as an actuary, the student will continue to learn, grow and contribute to the entire company. Benefits of the program include:  salary incentives for passing exams, exam fee reimbursement and an allotment of time to study.

Employee Benefits Group

Sales Representative positions are offered in our 34 field office locations across the country. Through a comprehensive training program, you will learn the diverse aspects of the Employee Benefits Group business, including sales, products, systems, marketing programs and administrative practices and procedures.

Leadership Development Program

Our Leadership Development Program will give you a jump-start on how to achieve success in the world of domestic and international business. This three-year rotational program includes a multi-faceted, accelerated business curriculum designed to help you build leadership skills and reach your personal career goals. Whether you are working stateside or overseas, you'll be involved in CEO-sponsored strategic projects and community outreach initiatives as part of the program. Internships & Co-Op Opportunities

As an intern or co-op student at Sun Life Financial, you will gain hands-on working experience in your selected field of study. There are a limited number of assignments available each summer, typically lasting 10-12 weeks. Sales internships are offered in our Employee Benefits Group business in the 34 field offices across the country. We have established programs with Bottom Line in Boston, MA, and the University of Cork in Ireland.

Positions will be listed on our career site beginning in January of each year. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis through the spring. Ideal students will be in their sophomore year or above and majoring in an applicable study for the role.
